About ACFR Conferences

The American Committees on Foreign Relations conducts an annual conference in Washington, DC. Now for 26 years, the annual conference draws eminent policymakers and other experts for a day and a half of presentations and substantive discussions with committee members and their guests.
The ACFR Annual Conferences are a mixture of style and substance which characteristically open with a reception hosted by a sitting foreign ambassador, continue through a day of substantive meetings in an institution of American foreign policy or club setting, and end with our annual Distinguished Service Award presentation and banquet event.

Our 27th Annual Conference will be held April 18-19, 2024 at the University Club, Washington D.C.
